MedTech Europe has published an article earlier this year about symbols that have been proposed by the industry association to be included in the new revision of ISO 15223-1. MedTech Europe issued in December an update on the List of Symbols.pdf, which may be useful to consider in particular for the transition to the MDR. The symbols in this guidance have been validated by MedTech Europe in accordance with the ISO 15223-2 process and have been proposed to ISO TC 210 WG 3 for the ISO 15223-1 revision.
